The sources have revealed that Atlas was admitted to the hospital and he was suffering major health issues due to his ageing and was in a critical condition. As per any of the reports, he suffered cardiac arrest and health complications and passed away at the age of 80- in a hospital in Dubai on the 2nd of October 2022, Sunday. Apart from providing various movies of the Malayali industry like Vaishali, Sukrutham, etc, Atlas also featured in a number of movies as a major role and he acted well in his roles as well. In 2015 he was also arrested for the financial fraud that he caused and he was in jail for over three years.

Atlas Ramachandran was born in 1942 in a small district called Thrissur where he became quite famous for his business style he acquired his name Atlas from there for his business advertising ideas and his tagline was quite famous as well which was unique and he used it in different frames, likewise, he sued it in Jewelry business like Atlas Jewelry, the trusted name of crores of people. In his initial days of starting up his business, Atlas started working as a bank employee and later he went on for business. From an early age, he was quite interested in movies and acting and that is the reason why he acted and produced a few movies.

Atlas Ramachandran was survived by his wife Indira Ramachandran and his daughter Manju, and her family. He was known for his vast business empire which he build across the country and internationally as well. He build his jewellery business and later expanded it as well, He had over 40 branches of his gold business and had it over the UAE as well where he had 19 branches there. He was arrested in 2015 because two of his cheques were worth millions to two banks as security while he admitted that he would repay the creditors taken and he ever since has been working for it since 2018. Atlas had many fans and he was supported on a large scale.
