The real name of DJ Tira is Mthokozisi Khathi who was born on 24th August 1976. But he knows by his stage name. He is a famous South African DJ, Kwaito performer and record producer. He rose his fan following after spreading the Ggom musical style throughout the world. Due to his brilliant work, he also won many awards. After the launch of the compilation CD Real Makoyo in the year 2001, he triumphed in the Smirnoff SA DJ Knockout competition which was held in the year 2000.
