Who Is Swatantra Veer Savarkar?

Savarkar was born on 28 may 1883 and he was born in Bhaghur, Nasik district, Bombay Presidency, British India (present-day Maharashtra, India). He died on 26th February 1966 and he was known for Hindutva ideology. He was an Indian politician and writer who developed the Hindu Nationalist ideology and he was also sent to Prison in 1922. There was a lot of controversy regarding Savarkar that he co-conspired in The Assassination of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948 but he was later released by the court for lack of evidence. But later when the Bhartiya Janata Party came into power his name started highlighted. He was also arrested by the French government to protect against the British and arrived in Bombay in 1910 and he was taken to the central jail in Pune afterward.
