Robert Crimo All Charges & Allegations
Steve Greenbag attorney from Crimo’s parents’ side said in a tweet that the tragedy is terrible and everyone who is a mother, father, or brother might feel terrible because of the tragedy. He said that his thought is with the families of the deceased. A total of 45 people were injured and 7 form them died either on the spot or at the hospital. The focus was on the shooter at first but later people started noticing the victims who lost their lives, said the mayor, Nancy Rotering. According to the police statement which was released after thorough investigations, the accused planned the shooting for several days and he was prepared. The man who was dressed as a woman was the accused. He was having facial tattoos and was hiding his identity by wearing woman’s clothes. After the shooting’s wake, the woman’s outfit was worn to help him hide his identity and to escape along with the crowd. Pictures of the accused wearing woman’s attire were released online.
What Charges Are Imposed On Robert Crimo?
Covelli police officer from Highland Park headquarters said in a statement that the accused blended along with the public as he was wearing a women’s outfit. Officer said he blended long with others as everyone was running and he acted like an innocent spectator. Apart from that Crimo was earlier trying to commit suicide and he was reported by one of the civilians. Mental health professionals and police handled him at that time in 2019 when he tried to commit suicide. A family member reported back in 2019 that he threatened to kill everyone and had knives with him which was scary. At that time police detained a sword, 16 knives, and a dagger from his house. According to a report by the police, in September 2020-2021, he purchased a shotgun, rifle, and pistol as well. There was no official report or complaint against him and that is the reason why the accused was not arrested earlier, clearly, the man was not well mentally. Earlier he had posted on his social media which had guns and things that were inhuman like showing blood and pointing rifles at himself. Until now the charges are described by the police and furthermore after the trials the charges will be released.
